These days many homes and hospitality industries are using contemporary furniture for their interior. For what reasons are they doing this though? Is it because they want to move forward in modern times along with the World and the people? Yes that is exactly why they are changing the way their interior looks to make it more contemporary.
Nowadays people are more picky. Most people would like to visit a place which not only provides a good atmosphere but also looks good from inside. And if you live in London this is vital because most young people only look to goto places which brings in good crowds, so that they can meet someone there – it’s the truth. How do they attract massive crowds? Many clubs and bars are organising different events every week by having a celebrity or two to feature in it, one reason to attract crowds, bars who cannot afford to do that just use their interior to attract single young people, everyone likes good looking places like we like good looking people and all of these bars and clubs are using modern pub furniture and club furniture for their interior so that it catches the eye of the person.
Why do we go shopping? Simply because we want to see what’s new and we want to move forward with the new fashion. Hence we also want to go to places which adapts to these new changes like we do. New changes always catches the eye of people and also makes them curious on what the change is and how does it look like with the new change.
Its not only bars, restaurants, cafes or clubs who are adapting to modern furniture. the new built properties such as houses and flats are also using contemporary furniture to give their interior a classy, stunning and modernised look. This is done so that it catches the eye of the person who is willing to buy it. During credit crunch many properties where left uncompleted but now has picked up and I have in past few months realized lots of these properties are using modernised chairs, sofas, tables, bed and more.

Ahmedabad is the largest state of Gujarat in Indian. It was found in 1422 and is named after the founder. Ahmedabad is administered by AMC (Ahmedabad Municipal Corporation). The establishment of AMC was done under the Bombay Provincial Corporation ACT of 1949 in the month of July in 1950. The AMC building has been around from 1950 and it has been announced that the new building will be getting contemporary furniture.
The new building is being built at Sardar Patel Bhavan in Danapith. The civic body are providing them with 5 Crore Rupees (Indian) for their new modern furniture. Some general public are not happy with this and are questioning why should the money be waste in modern furniture than being used to help the homeless. Reports were asking the AMC officers on the look of the furniture. The officers said that the furniture will be completely different to what it was before, as it was just traditional wooden and plastic furniture before. So what is this furniture going to be made of? Is it Gold or may be Silver? They are spending 5 crore rupees in it.
Two furniture contracts have been bless to receive this contract. They are both specialists in producing contemporary reception furniture and restaurant furniture and they have already created modern furniture for various top restaurants, hotels and celebrities in India. Both companies are contracted to provided modern stools, tables and chairs for the 6 storey building. It has been said they will also be providing the old furniture items but if they want modern furniture why would they need old furniture items?
Do they really need to spend 5 crore rupees for six story building? How much do you think it will cost for normal furniture? I would love to hear your thoughts?
To be honest I am actually looking forward to the new AMC building just to see the interior and the furniture, let’s see what has been done. The weather is always nice there so that’s not a problem.
